Public Meetings and Hearings
Public meetings and hearings on the Tongass Land Management Plan Revision Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) were held throughout Southeast Alaska, in Anchorage Alaska, and on the internet from June 18 to August 6, 2002.
The Internet Public Meeting and Hearing, which was held on July 8, 2002, was divided into two parts: an Open House and a Public Hearing. The Internet Open House allowed the public to ask questions and receive responses from the Forest Service. The public was able to submit testimony during the Internet Public Hearing..
